Mujtaba is a bridge between newly arrived refugees and Swedes. As much as he loves being able to help, questions and missunderstanding seem to never end. Here he translates for two families from Dari to Swedish the refugee shelter Kungsfågeln in Hammenhög.

The caretaker: Mujtaba works nights in the refugee hostel. Here playing around with Noha who are Linda child. Linda is a driving force in the local refugee support group and Noha are often with her during her work at the refugee house Kungsfågeln.

Barriers of age, language and culture have not prevented Ann-Kristin Mujtaba like a son. "We are here for him like parents,” she says.

“Fika” in the home of Ann-Kristin who is living next door to Mujtaba , she is born in the village.
